Welcome to Gunnar's Anvil

As a blacksmith, jeweler, and blade smith I offer a wide range of custom items ranging from historically influenced pendants and rings to custom knives. Every piece that leaves my shop is handmade of high quality materials with no corners cut. Each dirk, dagger, sword, even kitchen knife, is balanced, sharpened, hardened, and honed to ensure it will last you a lifetime.

I spent many years in school studying history and have developed a deep respect for the craftsmen of the past. I feel a great deal of pressure to provide the highest level of craftsmanship out of respect for you and for them. Keeping with their tradition, unlike some ÒCustom KnivesÓ you see, I make everything by hand including blades, handles, and all fittings. This extends to all of my custom accessories as well.

Every bag, shield, and helmet that leaves my workshop is of the highest quality. Custom antiquing and tooling leaves every piece unique. No matter what you are looking for, rest assured you will be ecstatic with the high quality of the custom work you receive.
